Responsibilities Review and proofread printed and electronic communications to identify and correct errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, tone, formatting, and presentation. Ensure all content complies with formatting requirements and organizational standards. Annotate, track, and document edits using tools such as Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word. Collaborate with team members to support document review processes through internal systems and platforms. Mandatory Qualifications PROOF OF GRADUATION FROM AN ACCREDITED LAW SCHOOL MUST BE SHOWN PRIOR TO HIRE. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited United States law school as defined in the Rules of the New York Court of Appeals (Sections 520.3 or 520.5) or admission to the New York State Bar. Preferred Skills Excellent writing and proofreading skills, with a strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Editing and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail. Functional working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe. Residency Requirement New York City Residency is not required for this position.
