Jack Schmitt Ford continues to grow and expand our business in Collinsville. We are looking for talented Sales Professionals to assist us with our growing levels of showroom, phone, and internet traffic.

In 2024 we experienced tremendous growth in our pre-owned operation and we were also the #1 New Ford Dealer in the St. Louis Metro East in a number of categories including retail sales, the most 5 Star Online Reviews, and the largest inventory.

We have an open floor and all sales team members can sell both new and used products, but we will need additional staff to meet our objectives in 2025 and beyond and continue to grow.

We are looking for the right individuals to join our team. Experienced Automotive Sales Professionals who are ready to make a change and join a progressive team and a growing business.

We have grown in volume and profits for the last twelve consecutive years and we feel we are only getting started. We are engaging clients in the digital space and converting them to customers of Jack Schmitt Ford. It is important that you are comfortable engaging with customers via the phone and internet. Our philosophy is not to hide things and deceive people in order to get them to our showroom, instead we offer an open, transparent process that starts from the customer’s initial contact with us on the phone or internet. If this isn’t your style, then we aren’t your style.

Position is full time. We offer one of the most competitive pay plans in the area and an outstanding work environment. Our management team is made up of former salespeople so we hold our sales team in high regard and treat and pay them well! We also offer a full benefits package including partially company paid health insurance, paid holidays, Christmas Bonus program, vacation pay after 1 year of service, and a great 401k.

Must be at least 21 years old

• Must have 1 year or more of prior and recent dealership sales or related experience.
• Must be willing to take a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

*Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are a must.

• Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
• Must be able to stand, sit, or kneel for several hours a day.
• Ability to multi-task and handle several phone calls at once.

Dealership and/or recent customer service retail experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary and Commissions on our staff range from : $50,000.00 /year to $130,000 per year plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct vehicle presentations and demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Manage sales processes, including negotiation and closing deals, while ensuring excellent customer service.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory and assist in inventory management.
• Utilize CRM software to track leads and follow up with potential buyers. Important:  We do lots of video so you cannot be camera shy!
• Uphold dealership standards and comply with all regulations while driving sales growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Automotive sales: 1 year (Preferred)

We offer one of the best schedules in the retail automotive sales space including a 4.5 day work week and most associates earn a Saturday off each month through performance.
