Director Drug Development Program Management (Internal Medicine)

Director of Development Program Management role providing operational leadership across pharmaceutical development programs from preclinical through commercialization. The position requires driving cross-functional teams, strategic planning, and portfolio oversight while mentoring junior staff and influencing organizational outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Global Program Head to lead strategic program teams and governance meetings
- Develop and align annual program goals with strategy and corporate objectives
- Monitor progress against goals and report program status to senior management
- Identify risks and issues proactively, developing mitigation and resolution plans
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues while managing direct reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree minimum
- 12+ years project or program management experience in pharmaceutical or related industry
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong presentation and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project and SharePoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Conflict resolution and team leadership expertise
