Material Handler (Cambridge)

Material Handler Supports production and customer service operations by performing kitting, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and SAP transactions. Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment, ensures accurate and timely movement of materials, and maintains organized inventory using FIFO principles. Follows documented work instructions, adheres to safety and quality standards, and collaborates with planners, engineers, and other departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform kitting, picking, packing, and SAP transactions to support production and customer service requirements. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently. Stock and put away inventory, organize shelves, and kit parts while respecting FIFO principles. Pack and ship a variety of orders accurately and in a timely manner. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork for shipping and receiving orders. Pick customer orders for shipping and ensure correct items and quantities are prepared for outbound shipments. Check in incoming products, issue materials, and deliver products to other departments as required. Monitor breakdown orders and coordinate with planners and engineers to release outbound orders and perform necessary checks. Essential Skills Experience with material handling. Valid lift truck license (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Ability to safely lift 35+ lbs on a regular basis. Effective organization, prioritization, and problem‑solving skills. Proficient computer skills to view, log, and find job‑related information in systems such as SAP and FTPC. Shifts This position operates on an afternoon shift schedule Monday to Thursday, 2:30p.m. to 1:00a.m., or on a day shift Monday to Friday, 5:30a.m. to 2:00p.m. Start Date July 6th, 2026 Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Cambridge, ON.
