The Server cheerfully serves guests by assisting them in ordering their food. This is done by having a thorough knowledge of all menu items and how these are served. Requirements Qualifications Read, write, and comprehend the English language Work with cold and extremely hot food products, utensils, dinner plates and glassware Work in a fast-paced environment consistent with changing business volume and demands Ability to learn quickly Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team at all times Ability to build relationships Valid driver's license Physical requirements Ability to lift, carry, deliver, and serve from trays weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift Ability to stand and walk continually throughout shift Ability to bend, stoop, and reach while carrying serving trays weighing up to 50 pounds Visual acuity to see restaurant menus, take customer orders, review customer bills, and smoothly navigate the dining room, kitchen, and other facility areas Essential Duties and Responsibilities Make decisions and solve problems in the interest of 100% guest satisfaction. Carefully monitors the store's operation and assists the manager in identifying and solving present and potential guest problems. Follows Barrio operational policies and procedures, including safety and security, to ensure the safety of all employees and guests during each shift Maintains a clean and organized workspace Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation. Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays Meet store operating policies and safety and security standards, with or without reasonable accommodation. Engage with and understand our guests, including discovering and responding to guest needs through clear and pleasant communication. Caterers are responsible for delivery and setup of taco buffets! Delivery will be within an hour's drive of our catering facility and setup should take less than 30 minutes. All materials will be provided and caterer will assemble food and supplies, load vehicle, transport, setup, and communicate with customer throughout the process.
