St. Louis County Sheriff's Office is seeking an Information Specialist III to join their Civil Process Division at the St. Louis County Courthouse in Duluth, MN. This position requires the ability to work independently and multi-task in a high demand work environment. Completing multiple time-sensitive work assignments while maintaining thorough attention to detail is crucial. The ability to work effectively with team members is critical. Some responsibilities of the Information Specialist III, Civil Process Division, Duluth Sheriff's Office position include:

• Routinely working and interacting with the public and partnering agencies by phone, email and in person.
• Entry and regular updating of complex civil processes in accordance with judicial branch (court) and statutory deadlines.
• Overseeing weekly mortgage foreclosure sales and post-sale processes.
• Communicating with deputies assigned to the Civil Division, ensuring proper and timely service of process.
• Assisting current employees with civil process request intake requirements and questions.
• Maintaining, professional, accurate and efficient office records management systems.

The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2026. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $24.69 - $34.20 per hour. This position is part of the Civil Service Basic Unit Employees Collective Bargaining Agreement represented by Council 5 of AFSCME. St. Louis County does not participate in E-Verify. All employees must be continuously authorized to work in the United States, for St. Louis County, on a full-time basis. St. Louis County does not provide sponsorship for employment visas.
