Claims Support Specialist

East Peoria, IL (Onsite)

12-Month Contract | Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

Pay: $15-$16/hour

TEKsystems is partnering with Erie Insurance to hire a Claims Support Specialist for their East Peoria, IL office. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, growing organization and gain valuable experience in customer service, claims support, and insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from policyholders, claimants, agents, and adjusters
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with claims-related inquiries
• Enter new claims information and update existing claims documentation
• Process and maintain claim files, documents, and correspondence
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and mail distribution
• Assist claims personnel with follow-up activities and claim support functions
• Greet and direct visitors and route inquiries appropriately
• Support office operations through scheduling, supply ordering, and general administrative duties

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable handling phone-based customer interactions
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous customer service, administrative, receptionist, office support, or call center experience is a plus
• Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and desire to learn are encouraged to apply

Position Details

• Location: East Peoria, IL (100% onsite)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• Duration: 12-month contract
• Pay: $15-$16/hour
• Interview Process: One 30-minute interview with a quick hiring decision

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
