Assistant Project Manager - Development, Affordable HousingPosition OverviewWe are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the development of affordable housing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various stages of the development process, from financing and design to construction.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing the project budget and financing, including securing funding and managing cash flowCoordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful completion of project design and constructionPerform site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and specificationsPrepare reports and presentations for project stakeholders, including investors, government officials, and community membersCollaborate with project team members to identify and resolve issues that arise during the development processQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field1+ years of experience in development/project management, preferably in affordable housing Strong knowledge of project development, financing, design, and construction processesExperience with project scheduling and budget management softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsNice to have: Knowledge of affordable housing regulations and policies
