We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterology Physician to join our team on an ongoing basis. The physician will provide specialized care in a hospital setting, supporting both outpatient and inpatient services. This role involves performing procedures, managing patient consultations, and participating in call coverage.


Position Details:

• Start Date: 06/15/2026
• Hourly Pay Rate: $443.43
• Shift Schedule: 6/15, 7/14, 7/16, 7/26, 9/1, 9/28, 10/1, with days scheduled 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, including night call.
• Work Hours: 10-hour days

Job Responsibilities:

• Support anesthesiology onsite during procedures and call shifts
• Manage a patient population aged 18 and older
• Conduct outpatient procedures, with no ERCP or EUS required
• Responsible for approximately 30-50 patient contacts daily, including 9-16 new consults
• Supervision of APPs for consults and follow-up discussions
• Maintain timely credentialing (90 days), with options for temps with a clean file
• Support emergency procedures as needed

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (BE or BC)
• State license required (PA)
• DEA license required
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a relevant setting
• Ability to perform scheduled outpatient procedures and emergency procedures
