Staff Accountant

We're looking for an experienced accounting professional who is ready to take ownership of meaningful work, contribute beyond transactional accounting, and grow into broader leadership responsibilities as our finance organization continues to scale. This is an opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, help improve processes, and play a key role in building a best‑in‑class finance function within a fast‑growing aviation services organization. What You'll Do Own significant portions of the monthly close process — far beyond routine journal entries Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations Investigate and resolve variances and legacy reconciling items Support consolidations, intercompany accounting, and audit schedules Assist with documenting accounting policies and strengthening internal controls Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and financial accuracy What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting required CPA preferred or actively pursuing certification 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of US GAAP principles Experience in multi‑entity environments; multi‑currency experience is a plus Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems Process improvement mindset and strong analytical skills English required; Spanish is a plus If you're looking for an opportunity to make an impact, take ownership, and grow alongside a dynamic organization, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr APAS - A Professional Aviation Services
