Fiber Optics Technician – Fiber Installation & Splicing (Hampton, GA) Join Next Level Technician as a Fiber Optics Technician in Hampton, GA. Earn $24–$30/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader. Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cabling (single mode and multi-mode) Perform fiber splicing (fusion) and OTDR testing Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic links and networks Read and interpret fiber optic system blueprints, layouts, and splice diagrams Install fiber patch panels, enclosures, and related infrastructure Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights) Support additional low voltage systems as needed Perform fiber work in a large-scale data center environment Requirements 3+ years of commercial fiber optic installation/splicing experience Experience with OTDR or OLTS (Fluke Versiv), power meter, and fiber test equipment Working knowledge of telecom and data networks BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus Manufacturer or FOA (Fiber Optic Association) certifications a plus Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots) Willingness to travel to job sites within Georgia as needed Benefits Weekly pay – get paid every week, no waiting Competitive wages – $24–$30/hr based on experience and skillset PTO, medical benefits, sign-on & referral bonuses Career growth via BICSI-certified training and real project experience Dedicated recruiter support with deep knowledge of Hampton, GA's low voltage industry National footprint – part of a respected team across Georgia and the U.S. #J-18808-Ljbffr Monroechamber
