Role Description The Administrative Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in Dearborn, MI, responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations within an assigned department or service area. This role coordinates schedules, workflows, and resources to support efficient patient services and staff productivity. The Administrative Leader manages administrative staff, provides performance feedback, and ensures adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include monitoring budgets, preparing reports, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic initiatives that align with Corewell Health’s mission. The role also involves collaborating with clinical leaders, responding to operational issues, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment. Qualifications Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including the ability to supervise, coach, and develop administrative staff. Strong organizational and time management abilities to oversee multiple tasks, schedules, and priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Proficiency in administrative operations, including workflow coordination, documentation, and compliance with healthcare regulations and policies. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support staff, and interact with patients and families. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with reporting, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives. Comfort with office technologies and healthcare information systems; proficiency in common productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office). Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Prior experience in healthcare administration or a similar leadership role in a clinical or hospital setting is strongly preferred.
