Supervisor For Home Care Services

LSSI is hiring a full-time Supervisor for Home Care Services. Under the direction of the Manager of Home Care Services, this position is responsible for supervising, assigning, and evaluating the performance of HCAs in the Intouch Program. Also responsible for assisting with program and administrative support as well as following all policies and procedures of accreditation bodies.

Essential Functions:

• Check and update HCAs' schedule in SAMS, resolve issues related to scheduling and client concerns as well as update the manager and/or AED upon the next business day.
• Record client hours and submit for billing in software program ensuring hours are correct.
• Plan and implement quarterly in-service program trainings and record data in appropriate software.
• Document client contacts and conflicts per funding requirements.
• Perform assessments and ensure accurate documents are filed in the caregivers' and clients' files.
• Provide direct supervision, training, support, review, and evaluation for assigned staff.
• Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.

Position Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a human services field.
• Supervisory certification from IDOA within 60 days of hire date.
• Experience using and proficient in the SAMS/Sandata system.
• Ability to attend all necessary trainings required by payor sources.
• Demonstrated ability to actively listen and to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
• Background check clearance required.
• Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
• Access to reliable transportation required.
• Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage required.
