Overview
Erie Basin Marina is seeking a hard-working and diligent seasonal (April-November) Maintenance worker to keep our marina looking clean and beautiful. The ideal candidate will possess ambition, as well as a good sense of teamwork. This role does involve hands-on activities--solo or as a team.

Duties:

Ensuring bathrooms are cleaned, and up to standards.
Picking up litter.
Landscaping--weed whacking, lawnmowing, weed-killing, etc.
Basic plumping, electrical, carpeting, welding, wood working, etc.
Boat movement/operation.
Painting/staining.
Dock repairs.

Requirements:

Maintenance experience not required, but preferred.
Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Electrical, plumbing, landscaping, etc. experience preferred--but not required, as long as you're willing to learn.
Able to be on your feet for 7 hours a day.
Able to bend, crawl, climb, swim, and kneel.
Working with hand tools.
Boating experience is not required, but would be a plus.
Must have a reliable source of transportation.
Willing to help in other fields of the marina (dockhands, gas dock attendant, ship store).
Working outside, rain or shine.
Not afraid of water or heights.
The want to learn new skills.

Job Type: Seasonal Full-time (April 1st to October 31st)

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
