Job Summary:
The healthcare professional, specializing in Medical Surgical Nursing, is sought for assignment at a large, nationally recognized facility in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care on a Medical Surgical Floor, with a focus on trauma and acute care surgery cases. The position demands clinical expertise, adaptability, and the ability to work nights, contributing to patient recovery and safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Five years of clinical experience, including trauma level I experience, community hospital background, and a minimum of six years of patient ratio experience. Proficiency in Epic charting system is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Relias EKG examination, and a minimum of five years' patient care experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the service line.
• Additional Information:
  • Must pass Relias EKG exam.
  • Must interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
  • Previous experience with trauma, including Level I trauma case management, is essential.
  • Knowledge of complex equipment such as wound vacs, external fixators, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, and mobility aids.
  • The unit handles patients from emergency, operating room, and ICU settings, including geriatric trauma and abuse/violence victims.
  • Shift start date is 08/17/2026, with a compliance deadline of 3 pm CST on the Monday prior to start.
  • Candidates must have a current Missouri or compact license; IL license in hand is required at submission.
  • No local candidates accepted within 75 miles; no local travelers allowed, except for specific roles.
  • RTO restrictions: no more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract; no RTO in the first week of assignment.
