\n The  G80 Internal Medicine Unit offers internal medicine, telemetry, behavioral health and nutritional services. Caregivers in this unit gain exposure to various specializations, fostering strong assessments skills, a wealth of clinical knowledge and continuous learning. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and deliver healthcare education as needed.

A caregiver in this position will work nights| 7:00pm—7:30am.

\n

\n

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• \n

  Provide direct nursing care. 

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.  

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.  

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Administer prescribed medications and treatments. 

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.  

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. 

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Educate patients and their families.   

\n

\n \n

\n

\n

\n

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) 

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) 

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross 

\n

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience 

\n

\n \n

\n

 
\n Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

\n \n

\n

\n
• \n

  Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) 

\n

\n \n \n

\n

Physical Requirements:

\n

\n
• Medium Work - exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
\n
• Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.
\n

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
\n

Pay Range

\n

\n

Minimum hourly: $35.50

\n

\n

Maximum hourly: $55.60

\n

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
