Job Title: Staffing/Care Coordinator

Pay: $52,000 – $58,000 per year

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; onsite 5 days per week. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Job Description:

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating caregiver coverage for a high volume of patients and ensuring schedules remain fully staffed.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Manage a high-volume caseload of approximately 80–120 patient cases.
\n
• Coordinate caregiver schedules, call-outs, replacements, and coverage needs.
\n
• Monitor missed visits and proactively address staffing gaps.
\n
• Maintain accurate patient and scheduling information in internal systems.
\n
• Communicate regularly with patients, caregivers, Case Managers, and insurance partners.
\n
• Assist with insurance authorizations and related administrative processes.
\n
• Respond to patient concerns and escalated situations with professionalism and empathy.
\n
• Collaborate with other teams to coordinate additional coverage when needed.
\n
• Prioritize urgent patient needs while managing multiple cases simultaneously.
\n
• Adjust to changing priorities and unexpected staffing needs throughout the day.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
\n
• Experience in staffing coordination, scheduling, customer service, case management, healthcare coordination, patient services, call centers, sales, or a similar phone-intensive role.
\n
• Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day communicating by phone.
\n
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Ability to prioritize multiple urgent requests and make sound decisions under pressure.
\n
• Empathetic and professional approach to patient and caregiver interactions.
\n
• Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
\n
• Experience with insurance companies or authorization processes is a plus.
\n
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience will be considered in place of education.
\n
