Payroll Support Specialist

Payroll Specialist Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in managing multi-state payroll processes and supporting international operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance and accuracy in payroll management. Responsibilities include managing and processing payroll for U.S. employees using outsourced payroll software, verifying and entering personnel changes into HR/Payroll systems, establishing and modifying payroll earnings and deduction codes, reviewing time and attendance entries for non-exempt employees, preparing payrolls for exempt and non-exempt employees, including special payrolls for bonuses, submitting payrolls for review and processing garnishments as required, coordinating payroll requirements for Employee Stock Purchase Plans and uploading 401(k) withholdings, preparing journal entries related to payroll and reconciling balance sheet accounts, assisting with international subsidiary payroll coordination, and supporting quarterly and annual external audit reviews and coordinating SOX activities. Skills include a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in payroll management, understanding of federal and state payroll regulations, experience with general ledger and journal entries, proficiency in Excel and Word, familiarity with ERP systems, strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information securely, and a high school diploma required. Preferred skills include experience with international payroll operations and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
