Food Runner – Pay Range: $17.00–$25.00 per hour with a $500 sign‑on bonus. Seasonal position (May‑November) with potential for year‑round employment based on performance and business needs. Location 1525 Hwy 107 South, Cashiers, NC 28717 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Present, carry, and run food according to restaurant standards. Provide accurate descriptions of menu items and courses to guests. Clear plates from tables. Prepare and serve coffee and tea as needed. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in Food & Beverage Service preferred. Experience dealing with the general public preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and managers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Basic knowledge and understanding of math. REASONING ABILITY Exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Lift up to 50 lbs. Stand on feet for extended periods. Operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely. WORK ENVIRONMENT Restaurant, dining room, bar, wait staff, and kitchen areas; other areas on property as necessary.
