This role is ideal for an accounting professional with 1-4 years of experience who is looking to expand their knowledge in billing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting functions.The Junior Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the organization's revenue cycle by ensuring accurate invoicing, maintaining customer accounts, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with collections efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, customer-focused, and eager to grow within a collaborative finance team.ResponsibilitiesProcess and review customer invoices to ensure timely and accurate billing.Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections on outstanding balances.Reconcile customer accounts and investigate billing or payment discrepancies.Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account activity.Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and improve processes.Review account information for accuracy and make corrections as needed.Research and resolve customer account concerns using available resources.Maintain detailed records of billing transactions, payments, and customer communications.Assist with month-end accounting activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.Prepare and distribute account statements and supporting documentation.Support various accounting and administrative projects as assigned.Contribute to continuous process improvements within the accounting department.QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.1-4 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, billing, or a related finance role.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience with billing, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, or collections.Exposure to accounting, ERP, or financial management systems.Understanding of general accounting principles and financial processes.Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.What Success Looks LikeAccurate and timely processing of invoices and account transactions.Prompt resolution of billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.Strong collaboration with internal teams and customers.Consistent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records. xhyhwjd A proactive approach to identifying process improvements and supporting departmental goals.
