Docketing Paralegal

Paralegal – Clean IP Docketing Role, No Fire Drills, Fully Remote Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per year. High‑performing IP boutique is looking for a sharp, detail‑obsessed Docketing Paralegal to support a busy patent prosecution practice in a fully remote role, working closely with attorneys and paralegals to manage deadlines and maintain docket oversight across domestic filings. In this role, you will manage and maintain IP docketing systems with a heavy focus on USPTO deadlines, review USPTO correspondence and translate it into clear, actionable deadlines and filings, generate, edit, and distribute docket reports to attorneys and internal teams, and partner closely with legal staff to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. You will also balance and prioritize multiple deadlines across a high‑volume patent prosecution pipeline while serving as a go‑to resource for docket‑related questions and process improvements. Job Details 3 to 5+ years of IP docketing experience in a law firm setting Strong understanding of patent prosecution workflows and timelines Ability to interpret USPTO documents and identify critical action items Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Comfortable working across multiple systems and databases Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team‑first mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Office and docketing software Technical background or exposure is a nice plus but not required Equal Employment Opportunity Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
