Job Description

Responsibilities are Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. Read technical diagrams and blueprints to perform work in accordance with relevant codes. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures. Use testing devices to identify electrical problems. Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure they remain in good condition. Conduct inspections to assess if repair or replacement is necessary. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety policies, NEC regulations, and building codes to maintain a secure work environment. Use protective equipment and adhere to safe work practices. Documentation: Maintain records of repairs, maintenance, and inventory. Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records following company procedures. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including PLCs and high-voltage systems. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as electrical testing meters. Skilled in analyzing schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Proficient troubleshooting and analytical abilities. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent completion of an electrical apprenticeship preferred. Proven experience as an industrial electrician.
