Physician (Obstetrics and Gynecology)

Obstetrics and Gynecology Position at William Beaumont Army Medical Center

This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics/Gynecology, Fort Bliss, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Provide obstetrics services, to include both medical and surgical management, for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of prenatal and postnatal care.
• Provide gynecology diagnosis and treatment, to include both medical and surgical management, to evaluate a wide range of female pelvic conditions or issues.
• Provide examination, diagnosis, and treatment of the full range of OB/GYN patients, from pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Perform advanced examination and treatment of patients referred for consultation.
• Evaluate both functional and dysfunctional problems related to the female pelvis, to include masses, pain, urological complaints, bleeding abnormalities, hormonal dysfunction, and infections.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs and other organizations. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Basic requirement for physician (obstetrics and gynecology): degree, licensure, and graduate training. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: residency training in the specialty of the position to be filled (obstetrics and gynecology) and equivalent experience and training equal to at least 4 years. Experience may not be substituted for residency training that is required for the specialty identified.
