Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand each client's unique challenges and backgrounds, using evidence-based practices to inform your approach. Develop personalized treatment plans that integrate therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies, aimed at achieving meaningful outcomes for clients. Implement therapeutic interventions in individual and group settings, providing a safe and consistent environment for clients to explore their feelings and experiences. Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring clarity and compliance in documentation. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to discuss case reviews and enrich the quality of care provided. Engage in ongoing professional development by attending case consultations and team meetings, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them with knowledge and resources to support their recovery. Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mental health care to enhance the therapeutic techniques employed in practice. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Possession of an active state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Ability to apply solution-focused psychotherapy interventions tailored to each client’s individual needs. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating sensitivity and empathy in all interactions. Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities that enable effective decision-making in complex situations. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient or similar setting. Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for client documentation and treatment planning. Previous experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities catering to various mental health issues.
