Manager, Competitive IntelligenceAs part of the Ryder team, the Manager, Competitive Intelligence performs research and analysis, including project management (often with broadly defined objectives), of corporate strategy initiatives. He/She will present this information and analysis to all levels of company management.Essential Functions:Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting TrendsCommunicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure that distributed intelligence provided is actionable and timelyUtilize intelligence garnered from primary and secondary research activities to develop and maintain detailed strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and designated key intelligence topicsSupport intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder's Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentationContinuously identify and maintain a database of relevant source of primary and secondary research, including industry analysts, market research firms, conferences, and othersAdditional Responsibilities:Performs other duties as assigned.Skills and Abilities:Demonstrates analytical skillsStrong executive presence and influence/communication skillsAbility to lead/manage othersProven leadership skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)Ability to work independently and as a member of a teamFlexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environmentCapable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skillsDetailed oriented with excellent follow-up practicesQualifications:Bachelor's degree required in Business, accounting, finance, engineering, economicsMaster's degree preferred MBA, accounting, finance, economicsTwo (2) years or more management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives requiredSeven (7) years or more of professional experience preferredTarget Bonus - 20%Our people are passionate about what they do, the product they sell, and the customers they serve. The Future We Build Together.Compensation Information:The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
