Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Credential (or eligibility for certification)
- Prior experience in a special education classroom setting strongly preferred
- Skilled in adapting curriculum and instruction to meet a variety of student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with colleagues, students, and families
- Flexibility in managing changing caseloads and responsibilities as determined by the school
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with a range of learning needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation according to district and state requirements
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Engage in regular communication with families to foster a supportive learning environment
- Uphold the highest standards in educational best practices and positive behavioral support
- Fulfill duties associated with onsite campus routines and scheduled hours
This position begins August 11th, 2026 and continues through June 4th, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek. As further information on classroom details and caseload are finalized, they will be shared to ensure a smooth transition into your role.
