Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential
- Demonstrated experience providing instructional support in special education settings
- Strong collaboration skills for working closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Adaptability in dynamic educational environments

Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive instruction tailored to students’ IEPs and established curriculum
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to best serve each learner
- Engage in active communication with families, service providers, and fellow educators
- Maintain all required documentation and data as part of compliance and reporting
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development in a nurturing classroom environment
- Participate in professional development to remain current with best practices and legal mandates in special education
This position runs from August 11, 2026, through June 4, 2027, and offers a standard 37.5-hour workweek, ensuring a consistent, structured schedule throughout the academic year. Additional details regarding specific responsibilities and caseloads will be provided.
