We are seeking a driven, organized, and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing flooring company. This position is ideal for someone who can manage multiple projects at once, communicate clearly with clients and crews, and take ownership of each job from estimate through completion.

Position Summary

The Estimator / Project Manager will be responsible for preparing accurate flooring estimates, assist with coordinating project schedules, managing installation crews, communicating with clients, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to company standards. The right candidate must be punctual, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare accurate estimates for flooring projects, including materials, labor, and project requirements.

· Review plans, measurements, project details, and job site conditions to ensure complete and accurate bids.

· Manage multiple flooring projects simultaneously from start to finish.

· Coordinate, and oversee installation and sand & finishing crews to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion.

· Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal team members.

· Monitor project progress, address issues quickly, and keep clients informed throughout the process.

· Maintain strong attention to detail in estimating, scheduling, documentation, and project follow-up.

· Ensure each project meets company expectations for quality, safety, customer service, and profitability.

Qualifications and Skills

· Experience in flooring, construction, estimating, or project management preferred but will consider training right candidate.

· Ability to read plans, take measurements, and understand project specifications.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to manage crews, solve problems, and make sound decisions in the field.

· Must be punctual, dependable, self-motivated, and goal oriented.

· Strong attention to detail is required.

· Basic computer skills and the ability to use estimating, scheduling, or project management tools preferred.
