Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit

Schedule: Rotating 12 hours, Days and Nights

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• 1+ Years of Experience
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
• Epic Experience
• Experience with Adult and Geriatric Population
• Experience with Fresh Open Heart Surgery Patients (Preferred)
• Interpretation of Cardiac Rhythms (Preferred)
• Experience with Impella and Balloon Pumps (Preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide holistic care to patients and families throughout the life cycle.
• Execute standards of nursing practice, including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop and revise patient care plans, coordinating care among disciplines, and delegating activities to other care providers as appropriate.
• Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices.
• Promote remarkable patient care through active participation in practice and implementation of leadership qualities.

Compliance / Notes:

RNs may be required to float to other ICUs or medical/surgical units based on staffing needs. Every 3rd Weekend worked.
