Essential Functions Establish contact with customers to recover delinquencies and offer available solutions to repay their accounts placed with FHC. Locate/skip-trace customers using state of the art skip-tracing tools combined with internet access. Record accurate and detailed notes, maintaining log of communication and all collection activities for each file. Ensure all performance deadlines, objectives, and goals are met as set by department standards. Adhere to consumer protection laws and FHC's standard practices and policies. Requirements Must possess excellent verbal negotiation, customer service and persuasion skills. Well organized, results driven, and able to work in a high volume and fast-paced office environment. Flexibility to adapt and resolve challenging situations calmly and professionally. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, exercising sound judgement. Ability to work a set, full-time schedule consisting of three shifts from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST and two shifts from 11:30 AM–8:00 PM EST, with occasional Saturday shifts (8:00 AM–12:00 PM EST) 2-3 per year Attendance and punctuality are a must. Preferred Experience, Education & Experience: Previous experience in Debt Collection Recoveries, Sales, Telephone Customer Service, Telemarketing, Banking, Financial Services, Call Center, or billing preferred, but not required. Proficiency with Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel and Word, Outlook email, and Adobe Acrobat High school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual in Spanish (spoken and written) is a plus! Federal and State contractor call/contact center along with Account Receivable Management WFH Requirements: Remote Position: in select locations. Candidates must live in designated hiring area Reliable high-speed internet (hard wired ethernet connection required) with minimum of 25 MBPS for Upload and Download speeds. Private, quiet, and distraction free room/office space Adhere to Telecommute Policy in its entirety Physical/Mental Demands Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this role, an employee is frequently required to sit, talk, or hear, in person and by telephone; use hands to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk and to lift and carry reports and records weighing up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
