Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for a Planning and Customer Service Coordinator based at its Pittsburgh, PA office. This position will be responsible for performing customer service functions, ERP data entry, and coordinating inventory movement between domestic sites.

Spang Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures custom inductive components for an array of industries including renewable energy, solar, medical, aerospace, automotive, and military. Our manufacturing locations include Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix AZ, McKinney, TX in the U.S.A., and Xiamen, China.

The primary responsibilities for this position include handling ERP (IFS) entries for customers, contacts, addresses, and order processing. Additional responsibilities include sending order documentation to customers, creating quotes and orders in IFS, providing order status updates, monitoring a shared inbox, and ensuring accurate data entry for inventory, purchase, sales part records, and supplier information. You will work closely with sales, shipping, production, and procurement at all domestic sites. Occasional domestic travel is required.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field along with at least one year of internship or office experience in customer service, logistics, scheduling, or production planning. Candidates should have strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with international trade compliance a plus.
