Job Description
We are looking for someone with a medical background, excellent verbal and written communication skills that takes initiative, works independently, friendly, and is self-motivated.
Core Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Obtain authorizations/referrals from insurance companies and/or physician offices.
- Obtain pre-certifications/pre-determinations for patient medication.
- Verify insurance benefits for each patient.
Qualifications:
- Experience 1-2 years in medical field.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Team player
- Strong friendly work ethic
- Multitask
- Ability to deal with responsibility with confidential matters.
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Bilingual: Spanish; preferred not required
