The Dental Front Office Manager oversees daily front-office operations and the entire practice while coordinating closely with clinical leadership. It is front office duties also. This role supervises front-office staff, supports efficient patient care and communication, and drives improvements in scheduling, office procedures, patient experience, and collections. Daily collaboration with clinical leadership, along with additional coordination as needed, is essential to the role.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling and improve scheduling efficiency.
• Verify insurance coverage and coordinate treatment planning.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
• Coordinate billing and strengthen collections.
• Maintain accurate dental records.
• Oversee office operations and practice administration.
• Supervise front-office staff and provide team leadership.
• Standardize office procedures and enhance the patient experience.
• Collaborate daily with clinical leadership and coordinate as needed.
• Use Dentrix for practice-management activities.

 

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in dental office administration.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dental practice management software, particularly Dentrix.
• Experience with insurance verification and dental billing.
• Appointment scheduling experience.
• Team leadership experience.
• Strong patient communication skills.
