Legere Group is an architectural millwork manufacturer seeking an experienced Assembler to join our team in Avon, CT. This role involves assembling wood products such as custom cabinetry, doors, molding, and trim according to detailed specifications.

This is a full-time, hourly position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to join a carpenter’s union after 60 days. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with occasional overtime during the week and Saturday mornings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble custom woodworking components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Prepare materials, install hardware, and apply adhesives and structural glues.
• Operate hand and power tools safely while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Inspect finished products and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred in woodworking, cabinetry, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, and general assembly techniques
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to safety
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, and lifting 20+ lbs.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Experience in a production or shop environment strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with millwork, cabinetry, or carpentry processes; apprenticeship or union experience is a plus.
