Desktop Support Specialist

Job Summary Desktop Support Specialist
- Provide on-site hardware and software support for end users at the Seattle metro campus
- Act as the frontline technical contact for troubleshooting issues and resolving escalations
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain computers, mobile devices, and related hardware/software
- Image/re-image computers and perform software installations
- Log and manage support incidents and requests using a ticketing system
- Handle Level 1 and Level 2 support escalations, including conducting root cause analysis
- Manage hardware inventory, including ordering new equipment and decommissioning old devices
- Perform communication room patching and general IT room maintenance
- Communicate proactively with clients and team members via email and MS Teams
- Ensure strong customer service and manage client expectations
- Collaborate with Network Services and senior IT engineering teams on local projects
- Maintain technical documentation and adhere to IT policies and procedures
