Lawn Care Technician Licensed MA Pesticide Applicator

We are searching for someone who can work independently and efficiently to serve our residential and commercial customers. Responsibilities: Work outdoors with varying temperatures and conditions Work a flexible schedule that varies from day to day (weather dictates schedule) (Monday-Friday & Saturdays) Move, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs. Start and operate small engines (some mechanical aptitude) Read labels, training materials and written guidelines. Use basic math skills Utilize cell phone, tablet, navigation, and pest control software (computer aptitude) Work independently and manage time Problem solve Requirements: Must have Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License Set-up and break-down company vehicle for service daily Communicate with customers- review possible concerns; recognize & offer customized solutions to fit customer needs Communicate with management- issues, questions, concerns & start and end of day briefings Be able to safely: Drive to and between customer properties in company vehicle Measure and prepare products in preparation for application Apply organic & standard insecticides to property perimeters, lawns & structures Diagnose and address possible areas of concern on customer properties Log each application and outcomes. Identify opportunities to sell services to neighbors (door hanging in service area) Qualifications: Reliable transportation to and from our shop in Lynn, MA Mass Pesticide Applicator License Valid MA driver's license Clean driving record Strong written and oral communication skills Comfortable with exposure to: Nature (insects, animals, etc. great if you love the outdoors!); Noise, dust, pollen, pesticides, oil, gas Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $35.00+ per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 10 hour shift Application Question(s): Do you have a valid/current Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License?
