Mobile Market Grant Program Specialist

Job Description and Duties

Per CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies.

Under the general direction of the Research Data Supervisor II, the Analyst II provides analytical support to the Office and the Mobile Market grant program with the special projects administered within the Office of Farm to Fork, including grant required site visits, grant administration technical assistance, regional and virtual gatherings, database technology adoption and implementation, and other related projects throughout the State of California. Travel is required; potential overnight stays may be required .

This is a 12-month Limited Term (LT) position that may be extended up to 24 months or may become permanent.

Working Conditions

The incumbent will work within an office environment furnished with a variety of office equipment. The incumbent will be also required to drive, exit, and re-enter the work vehicle numerous times during the workday and maintain a safe driving record.

Travel will be required for up to 80% of the time. This may include overnight travel.

This position may/may not be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the CDFA and based on the current telework policy. While the CDFA supports telework where possible, in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksite with minimal notification if an urgent need arises, as determined by the Department.

Special Requirements
