What's Offered Competitive Pay: $24-$32/hour based on experience Weekly Pay Overtime Available Long-Term Stable Employment Opportunities for Advancement Multiple Shift Options Available Shift Options 1st Shift 2nd Shift Weekend Shift What You'll Do Fit and weld structural steel components used in electrical poles, substations, and utility structures Perform MIG, Flux Core, and Metal Core welding to quality and safety standards Read blueprints, weld symbols, drawings, and work orders to determine proper fit-up and weld requirements Lay out, align, and assemble structural components prior to welding Complete fillet welds and structural welds using Metal Core wire Operate overhead cranes to safely move steel poles, shafts, and large fabricated assemblies Measure, stage, and organize materials required for production Assist with fabrication, grinding, and basic TIG welding as needed Follow all safety, quality, and production standards What We're Looking For Experience with MIG, Flux Core, or Metal Core welding Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols Structural steel welding or fabrication experience preferred Experience fitting components before welding Comfortable working with large steel assemblies and overhead cranes Basic math and measurement skills Ability to pass weld testing and pre-employment assessments Why Join the Team? Work Environment This position is located in a structural steel manufacturing facility producing utility poles and related infrastructure products. Work is performed in a fabrication shop environment with welding equipment, overhead cranes, large steel components, and production machinery. Proper PPE is required, and safety is a top priority. This is a hands-on, active role that involves standing, lifting, welding, fitting, and working with heavy materials throughout the shift. Looking for Something Different? This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK. The pay range for this position is $26.24 - $29.35/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
