They perform various maintenance activities to ensure that X-Cel equipment is always in excellent condition and capable of supporting all of our customer's needs. This position involves responsibilities in three key areas: Quality, Safety, Maintenance and Housekeeping.Maintenance Technicians must possess personal commitment and availability beyond regular business hours.Key Responsibilities1. SafetyMeet all operating safety rules in accordance with X-Cel and local safety regulations.Safely handling and processing of materials including raw, processed, and hazardous waste.No loose clothing, hair or jewelry.No smoking (except in designated areas).Safety glasses recommended.Report all accidents no matter how minor (no exceptions).MaintenanceEnsure all scheduled maintenance is performed on time and documented correctly.Communicate any concerns regarding equipment to the Technical Manager.All purchases or spending must be approved in writing prior to purchase (see Purchase Requisition).All facility maintenance must be monitored by this associate. Report any needs to the Tech. Manager.It is your responsibility to complete and store all records that you use.
