Accounting Assistant

Benefits Position Type: Permanent, Contract to Hire Benefits: This position is eligible for Health, Vision, Dental, and 401(K) benefits. Pay: $25.00/HR Responsibilities Assist with maintaining accurate financial records, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and bookkeeping activities. Process payroll accurately and ensure timely completion of payroll-related tasks. Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets, for client review. Communicate with clients regarding bookkeeping and payroll needs while providing excellent customer service. Support month-end bookkeeping processes to ensure client accounts are completed on schedule. Assist with expense coding, account maintenance, and other day-to-day accounting functions. Provide general office support, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks. Collaborate with internal team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of client work. Qualifications 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or accounting assistant experience preferred. Experience with QuickBooks Online and payroll processing. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Addison Group
