Speech Language Pathologist – Inpatient Rehab Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora, CO Department: Speech Rehab Unit (Inpatient, not Acute Care) Work Schedule: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Weekend Days Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 per hour, depending on experience This is an onsite role with no hybrid or remote option. Current certification with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Speech Pathology. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. BLS or CPR card must be valid within sixty days of hire. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ speech, language, voice, and other related abilities. Create and execute personalized therapy plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Provide extensive education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding communication or swallowing disorders, prognosis, therapy techniques, and home practice strategies. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, audiologists, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
