Quality Assurance SpecialistWe are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a manufacturing company in Acton, MA. This position offers the opportunity to support all aspects of quality and continuous improvement in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This is a Direct Hire position.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate quality inspection activities for mechanical and electro-mechanical products and components.Manage inbound and outbound RMAs, working with both suppliers and customers to address quality issues.Investigate non-conformances and support corrective actions and root cause analysis.Work with suppliers to resolve incoming material and component quality issues.Coordinate and maintain equipment calibration schedules, records, and documentation.Review drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements using GD&TMaintain quality documentation, procedures, records, and other quality-related information.Collect and organize quality data and create reports, charts, and metrics using Excel.Assist with ongoing development and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System.Support continuous improvement initiatives and day-to-day quality needs across the organization.Collaborate with Operations and other departments to resolve product and process quality issues.Qualifications3–5 years of experience in a QA or Quality Engineering role with mechanical products in a manufacturing environment.Strong working knowledge of GD&T and ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.Experience with RMAs and corrective actions.Experience with equipment calibration preferredProficiency with Excel, including data gathering and creating charts.Experience with QMS documentation is helpful but extensive ISO or QMS experience is not requiredThe salary range is $75,000–$85,000, with flexibility based on experience.BenefitsCompetitive salaryComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays401(k) with company matchOpportunities for professional growth and advancement Express Employment Professionals Defunct
