The Business Process Analyst will support the Client Office by analyzing and improving business processes, supporting strategic initiatives, monitoring performance, coordinating stakeholders, and developing process documentation.

The BPA will primarily support finance-related strategic initiatives , helping ensure projects are aligned with organizational goals, timelines, deliverables, and operational requirements.

• Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) .

• Identify process inefficiencies, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Conduct gap analysis and root cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations.

• Support planning, implementation, monitoring, and completion of strategic initiatives.

• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, action items, and deliverables.

• Coordinate with project leads, sponsors, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Identify project risks, issues, and blockers and assist with resolution.

• Conduct feasibility and risk assessments for proposed process changes.

• Develop optimization strategies based on data, stakeholder input, and business requirements.

• Create and maintain KPIs, dashboards, reports, and performance tracking tools .

• Support change management, stakeholder communication, readiness, and adoption.

• Develop and maintain process maps, SOPs, reports, recommendations, and implementation documentation.

• Facilitate meetings, workshops, workgroups, and cross-functional discussions.

• Communicate findings, recommendations, risks, and project updates to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ensure processes and deliverables comply with applicable federal, state, and agency requirements.

• 3 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Process Improvement, Process Analysis, or Project Management .

• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma .

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, reports, and performance metrics .

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams .

• Power BI or similar reporting/dashboard experience is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.

• Experience facilitating meetings and working with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Experience supporting strategic initiatives or organizational transformation .

• Experience in government, public health, finance, or another regulated environment .

• Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, process maps, SOPs, or implementation documentation.

• Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Change Management, or Business Analysis certification/training.

Important: This is not a regular BA position . Candidates should have strong experience specifically in business process analysis/improvement, strategic initiatives, performance management, SOPs, and stakeholder coordination .
