About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Palliative RN in Carmichael, California, 95608!

Common diagnoses/Types of patients Any patient that meets the Palliative Care screening requirements in the hospital. Physician places order consultation for Palliative Team. RN carries case load, visits up to 5-6 New patients, 3-4 follow up visits per day. Specific Job Duties Related to this role? Palliative Care Experience a plus! Developing patient daily list, Review of Patient charts, assessing patient needs, Opening Goals of care discussions, Education on disease process, Advance Directives and POLSTs, Holds family meetings as needed, End of Life discussions/support. Attends daily Rounds.
