Technical Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst leads requirements strategy and process analysis across complex initiatives, partnering with executives, business stakeholders, Solution Owners, and delivery leaders to shape scope, prioritize value, and ensure delivery teams have what they need to execute. The Senior BA sets the standard for how requirements are elicited, structured, and traced through delivery, and mentors junior team members. The Senior BA is an integral part of the team bridging business strategy and delivery execution. Core Responsibilities Lead requirements elicitation and discovery across complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Senior: Architects elicitation strategy, facilitates executive and SME working sessions, and synthesizes findings into prioritized scope. Analyze and redesign current-state and future-state business processes, operating models, and capability maps. Senior: Leads process analysis across functional areas and drives recommendations on operating model changes with executive sponsors. Translate strategic business objectives into structured backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements. Senior: Owns scope structure and requirements traceability from business case through delivered functionality. Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and non-happy path scenarios across processes and proposed solutions. Senior: Proactively manages cross-workstream dependencies and partners with delivery leadership on mitigation and trade-off decisions. Establish documentation standards, traceability practices, and requirements quality across the engagement. Senior: Defines and enforces documentation standards and reviews artifacts from Mid and Junior BAs for quality and consistency. Partner with QA and delivery leadership to ensure testing strategy aligns with requirements and stakeholder validation needs. Senior: Shapes UAT strategy, aligns acceptance with business value, and ensures full requirements coverage across releases. Communicate with executives and delivery leadership to align on scope, prioritization, and trade-offs throughout delivery. Senior: Facilitates executive working sessions, drives prioritization conversations, and supports go/no-go decisions. Coach and mentor Junior and Mid BAs across engagements. Senior: Mentors team members on elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management and contributes to internal BA practice. Experience Senior: 8+ years owning business analysis, requirements strategy, and process analysis on complex delivery programs Experience leading requirements elicitation, prioritization, and validation with executive stakeholders Experience leading process redesign and operating model analysis across functional areas Experience mentoring junior analysts and shaping BA practices within delivery teams Experience working across full delivery lifecycle and across multiple concurrent workstreams Skills Expert-level requirements elicitation and facilitation across executives, SMEs, and end users Ability to structure complex scope into prioritized backlogs with clear traceability Deep process analysis and operating model design experience (BPMN, swim lanes, capability maps, service blueprints) Strong ability to manage cross-workstream dependencies, risks, and trade-offs Proven ability to define documentation and traceability standards across an engagement Experience shaping UAT and acceptance strategy aligned to business value Excellent written and verbal communication with executive and technical audiences Strong agile delivery fluency (refinement, planning, scaled agile patterns where applicable) Ability to coach and mentor junior team members on elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management Working knowledge of how business processes connect to enabling technology (CRM, ERP, workflow, data platforms) Strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and decision support Ability to operate with autonomy across ambiguous, fast-moving programs Delivery Methods Agile, waterfall, hybrid, and scaled agile (SAFe, LeSS) delivery models Leads requirements, design, and validation activities across multiple workstreams and delivery cycles Tools JIRA or ADO, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, SQL (querying, validation, data profiling), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams Certifications (Preferred) CBAP, PMI-PBA, SAFe Agilist or POPM, Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) #J-18808-Ljbffr Tixy
