Accounting Coordinator

Job Description Job Title: Accounting Coordinator Department: Finance Job Reports To: Director of Finance Status: Non-Exempt Major Responsibilities/Activities Processing all accounts payable information for Ice Rinks operated by the Nashville Predators and related entities. Review invoices and expense reports for proper documentation, coding accuracy and approvals. Enter invoices and expense reports into Intacct, Papersave, and spreadsheets. Print and distribute checks; manage outstanding check register using online banking portal. Manage Purchase Order system and monitor invoices for proper payment of use tax. Assist with customer invoicing and refunds; serve as point of contact for invoicing questions. Assist with interdepartmental transactions and reconciliations. Maintain file of Form W‑9 and complete third‑party requests for W‑9s. Monitor and recommend process improvements. Provide superior customer service, communication, and urgency; propose proactive solutions. Communicate with supervisors and manage workload and timelines. Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Finance and management. Qualifications Degree in accounting or related field preferred. 1–4 years of relevant experience. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles. Detail‑oriented, team player. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of financial management and accounting software; familiarity with Intacct a plus. Excellent customer service, organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to work flexible hours; overtime may be required. Works with limited guidance; occasionally lifts/moves up to 40 lbs. High finger dexterity for data entry (75% of time). Remain in stationary position, walking/standing, bending, carrying light items, computer work, answering phones. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods. Finger dexterity to perform accounting duties. Occasionally lift and move boxes of office equipment, accounting files, up to 20 lbs. Equipment Used General office equipment (PC, copier, scanner, calculator, time clock).
