Job Summary Langan is seeking a Senior Staff Landscape Architect to join its collaborative team in White Plains, NY. This individual will serve a key function in providing support to integrated design services for both public and private sector clients at sites focused regionally, with opportunities throughout the United States and abroad. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of waterfront design, urban revitalization and streetscape, smart growth planning, community design, retail and commercial site planning, healthcare and university campus design, rooftop gardens, green infrastructure, and brownfield redevelopment assignments. Job Responsibilities Prepare the planning, design, and permitting of landscape architecture, civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects using design, engineering, and graphic software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketch Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lumion, and equipment to prepare landscape architecture and design documents; Perform zoning, ordinance, and permit assessments, and assist with determining the feasibility of projects based on the analysis of collected data; Assist with the preparation, review, and modification of various design and landscape architecture related documents including conceptual and technical design plans, plan view and perspective renderings, specifications, construction schedules, cost estimates, and reports for projects; Assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data and their impact on the planning and design of projects using reports, maps, drawings, design and engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs; Provide field observation and construction administration services such as reviewing and responding to contractor requests-for-information, submittals and shop drawings, plant selection and tagging at nurseries, and preparing punch list reports; Familiarity with current local, state, and federal land use permitting processes; and Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture; 3+ years of experience; In process of securing or currently maintain professional licensure; High level of creativity and exceptional computer skills in Lumion, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Office; Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; Self-starter with problem solving abilities; Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment and to follow direction and collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments; Willingness to work in the field as necessary; Ability to occasionally travel to and work in other office locations; and Possess reliable transportation for job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills. Certain roles may be eligible for overtime and participation in the firm's annual bonus and performance review program. Bonuses are discretionary and based on individual job performance and the profitability of the firm. Employees are also eligible to receive up to 20 days of paid vacation time, 10 days of paid sick time and 10 paid holidays throughout the year. Eligibility and actual paid time off may vary based on local law and factors such as hours worked, related work experience and level. Pay Range

$88,000—$110,000 USD
