Details Long Term Care (LTC) skilled nursing facility setting Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts Flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, as consistently communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation No weekend requirements No on-call requirements Treats patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders Requirements Current OT license required, if applicable Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required LTC or Rehab setting experience required Compact license accepted for Missouri 1 professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop appropriate plans of care Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities and exercises, modalities, and assistive devices Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and evaluate treatment outcomes Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers Communicate with supervisors and healthcare team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans Complete comprehensive discharge summaries and maintain accurate documentation per regulatory requirements Participate in required meetings such as patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings Attend facility and company required trainings and in-services Obtain necessary DME or supplies as needed for patient care Supervise and support occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA and state-required practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested during the assignment American Traveler Job ID P-747575.
