Specialty Representative/ Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health -San Diego S&N(Overlay)

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for a bone health sales role covering the San Diego area. The position involves delivering clinical product knowledge to medical professionals, executing marketing strategy, managing customer relationships, and driving sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive product knowledge and clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate product utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, educational programs, and in-person and virtual customer engagement
• Develop and manage customer relationships by customizing interactions, addressing reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts
• Analyze sales effectiveness and territory performance; develop territory plans in collaboration with District Manager
• Share best practices with colleagues and communicate market feedback to support marketing strategy refinement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years sales experience
• For Senior level: Bachelor's plus 3 years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or Associate's plus 6 years, or high school diploma plus 8 years
• Preferred: pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare insurance industry experience
• Preferred: product or hospital sales in specialty areas including oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, bone health, or related fields
• Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills focused on sales outcomes
• Local market knowledge of San Diego territory

Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 base annually
