Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development, Obesity

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute clinical development strategies for obesity pipeline programs
- Lead study design, protocol development, and medical oversight of Phase 1-3 clinical trials
- Serve as Program/Therapeutic Medical Lead on cross-functional teams and internal stakeholder engagement
- Oversee adverse event assessment, benefit-risk evaluation, and clinical data interpretation
- Recruit, mentor clinical staff and manage external consultants and CRO relationships
Requirements
- MD or DO degree in relevant clinical specialty with 4+ years industry drug development experience
- Accredited residency training and board certification preferred
- Deep expertise in clinical development across Phase 1-3 programs
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory, technical, and business aspects of drug development
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and clinical trial oversight
- Demonstrated ability to develop clinical strategies and interpret complex data
